The School and Role
This EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in South Tyneside is looking to appoint a passionate Swimming Teacher to work with pupils in Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Swimming Teacher will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties, Complex Medical Needs and Speech and Language Difficulties. This full time Swimming Teacher role is long term from September ongoing. There is a requirement to help with moving and supporting the children. Manual handling training is not essential but desirable.

Requirements
The desired Swimming Teacher will have;
Relevant swimming qualifications to teach swimming lessons.
Experience of working with primary and/or secondary school aged children.
Experience of working with pupils with SEND is desirable.
