Position: SEN Teaching Assistant, Location: Primary SEN School, Wirral
Type: Full-Time Start Date: September

About the Role: Tradewind is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a well-respected primary SEN school in Wirral. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering tailored educational programs.
Assist students with their daily activities and educational tasks.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Promote the social and emotional development of students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
