We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Glazing Industry Support Specialist.
Job Description:
As a Glazing Industry Support Specialist, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for providing support in various aspects of our operations. Your primary duties will revolve around supporting the showroom, providing estimates, and imparting your expertise on customer software portals.
Responsibilities:
Showroom Support:
- Assist customers visiting the showroom with product inquiries, pricing, and order processing.
- Maintain showroom displays and ensure they accurately represent our product range.
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the showroom experience for customers.
Estimations:
- Utilize your knowledge of the glazing industry to provide accurate estimates for customers' projects.
- Analyze project requirements and provide cost-effective solutions to meet customers' needs.
- Work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure estimates align with project goals.
Customer Software Portals:
- Serve as an expert on customer software portals, guiding customers and colleagues on their usage.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide training to team members as needed.
- Collaborate with IT support to streamline processes and improve user experience on software platforms.
Training:
- Conduct training sessions for team members on utilizing customer software portals effectively.
- Share insights and best practices from your experience in the glazing industry to enhance team knowledge and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve training materials.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the glazing industry is essential.
- Proficiency in estimating glazing projects and understanding various glazing types and materials.
- Familiarity with customer software portals or willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the workplace environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
