Governance Support Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance Support Administrator based in Essex with a top tier Housing Association.

Competitive salary of £33,281 per annum.

18 months fixed term contract.

Monday - Friday full time, hybrid working (predominately at home if desired)

The Governance Support Officer provides professional, confidential and comprehensive administrative and secretarial assistance to the Governance & Corporate Assurance Team, Executive Team, Company Secretary and Board of Management.

This will include the following requirements:

To provide administrative support to the Governance & Corporate Assurance Team and Executive Team where required.
To support the Governance & Corporate Assurance Team to deliver services to Housing Association's Board and Committees.
To work in partnership with Housing Association's teams to deliver key messages and services to key stakeholders - internal and external.
To support with data governance and compliance with the Data Protection Act and associated regulations.
To deliver ad hoc corporate administrative duties, which are broadly consistent with those detailed in this job description.Requirements

Certificate / Diploma in Corporate Governance preferred.
Knowledge of corporate governance (or a willingness to undertake further development in this area)
Knowledge of social housing regulatory standards
Understanding of working in a housing, charity or third-sector organisation
