We have an opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to join our team in Aberdeen.

The Role:

Working with an established team you will be responsible for the following:

Electronic storing and checking of Tender Documents
Tender document enquiry preparation
Log and edit tenders on Estimating Software System (ConQuest)
Input Bill of Quantities on Estimating Software System (ConQuest)
Tender document enquiry preparation on Estimating Software System (Conquest)
Attend site visits with other team members to review prelim requirements, site constraints, risk & opportunities
Handling department incoming/outgoing telephone calls
Review and reporting of supply chain quotations
Day-to-day management of subcontractors and suppliers database
Liaising with Subcontractors/Suppliers, Design Teams and Clients
Attendance & contribution at various tender process meetings
Estimating and cost planning
Maintain an electronic and hard copy filing system including management of archive files
Preparation of tender documents for submission in line with client requirements
Input to the day to day management of subcontractors and suppliers databaseAbout You:

Are you:

Competent at Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook?
Able to work to demanding time and quality targets?Do you:

Excellent literacy and numeracy skills?
Work well as part of a team?Training & Development:

You will be enrolled into Technical College or University day release to study and achieve a degree in a relevant construction subject.
