We are currently seeking Trainee Motorhome Habitation Technicians to undertake our onsite and extensive training program to enable them to become qualified Habitation Technicians. We are the largest Motorhome Retailer in the UK, and this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy team.

Areas of Training

Areas of training will include motorhome 12v and 230v electrical and LPG gas systems, plumbing, and furniture and furnishings. The roles would suit individuals of any age who have good practical and technical skills.

Working permanently alongside one of our qualified technicians until the initial phase of training is complete, you will undertake full habitation checks, maintenance servicing and repairs of motorhomes. Fitting extras when required by the customer, diagnosing technical issues and making recommendations to rectify faults. Completion of aftersales warranty work when required. To maintain the highest standards, upholding the excellent reputation of the company.

Skills Required

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills be polite with a warm, friendly and enthusiastic personality. You must be able to follow specific instructions and have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work with good hand tool skills. You must be flexible and enjoy working as a team in a fast paced environment.

You must have good practical and technical skills, excellent IT skills and GCSE English and Maths (Grade A to C) or equivalent and a full driving licence.

Hours of Work

4 days on/4 days off 6.00 am to 6.00 pm shift system

Salary

Starting £24,800 during training (1 – 2 years), rising to £30k+ following training
