Graduate Engineer – Doncaster
Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Ground Engineering and Civils contractor to recruit a Graduate Engineer as part of their pre-construction team, working on lucrative UK projects.
This Graduate Engineer role focuses around developing your skills and knowledge in Ground Engineering and Civil Engineering works by engaging in a range of works throughout each stage of a project.
Day-to-Day
As a Graduate Engineer, here’s just a few parts of what your day could look like:
- Working alongside the rest of the pre-construction and bid team to ensure pipelines, service quality and timescales are managed effectively
- Ensuring accurate site records are maintained, alongside developing your knowledge of Health and Safety around sites
- Providing vital support within the engineering team, helping to coordinate designs, reports, specifications, bid evaluations, analysis and more
- Getting involved with the Operations teams to assist with labour requirements and materials by analysing site needs based on reports
- Collaborating with the on site Operations Team, including the Contracts Engineers, Contracts Managers and Project Managers whilst conduction site visits and inspections to ensure quality and efficiency
About You
- BSc Hons in Civil Engineering and/or Geology at a 2:2 or above
- A desire to learn and develop, with a keen interest in Ground Engineering
- Self-sufficient and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress
- The ability to work as part of a larger team, with effective communication skills and a can-do attitude
Salary and Contract Details
- Competitive Salary c.£28,000+ per annum depending on experience
- Car Allowance of £350 per month
- 34 Days Annual Leave inc. Bank Holidays
