Join a leading London Engineering Consultancy as a Senior Security Consultant specialising in the Built Environment. This role offers an attractive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a hybrid working model.
About the Role:
As a Senior Security Consultant, you will prepare and coordinate physical security design advice for top-tier projects across various sectors. The Security Consulting team develops high-quality protective security designs for large-scale global projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering security consultancy and master planning on UK and international projects.
Engaging in projects such as airports, sports stadia, entertainment venues, educational facilities, transport hubs, museums, and advanced hi-tech facilities.
Providing client-facing consultancy, design, project management, operational advice, business development, and R&D.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to produce risk registers.
Develop security strategies to meet statutory requirements.
Produce innovative design concepts, staying updated on emerging threats and trends.
Advise clients on appropriate security technologies.
Develop and deliver testing programs to ensure security program integrity.
Supervise and mentor graduate security consultants.
Research and write standards, policies, procedures, and intelligence reports.

Up to £60k starting basic salary

About You:
Experienced Security Consultant with a background in the Built Environment / Buildings
Qualification in Security and Risk Management, Crime & Criminology, or related fields
Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant institution
Membership of SyI, ASC, or IAPSC
Experience developing security strategies across various projects
Experience assessing security risks in diverse sectors and locations
