Electronic Design Engineer - Salford - c£37,000/year (4-day working week)

In this role, you will provide Electronic/Hardware engineering support to our products in providing solutions to engineering problems, in a timely manner to enable the team to meet its manufacturing programs. Additionally, to support in electrical product design and development in line with strict user specifications.

Repsonsbilities:

To diagnose the hardware problems that result in system faults.
To provide hardware solutions to production, manufacturing, and repair problems.
To undertake design design changes to replace obsolete components.
To carry out component and system type testing (including EMC testing where appropriate).
Prepare and submit technical documentation to support qualification of of obsolescent parts of Atec products.Requirements:

Experience of analogue and digital electronic design (PCB Design, 3D CAD).
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or a relevant apprenticeship with experience).
5 years of experience in the Defence industry (or similar).
