Location: Luton
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £12-13ph depending on licence and experience

Rota: 10hr shift per day - Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Yard FLT Person to manage yard operations efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the yard using FLT.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the yard.

* Conduct regular inspections of the forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.

* Organise and maintain the yard area, ensuring it is clean and safe.

* Assist with inventory management and stock control.

* Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for the smooth flow of goods.

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

* Perform general yard duties as required.

Requirements:

* Valid forklift truck (FLT) license and proven experience operating forklifts.

* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Good communication skills.

* Physically fit and able to handle manual labor.

* Happy to work outside for long period of time

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a similar role within a yard environment.

* Knowledge of inventory management systems.

* FLT licence
