Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Install and maintain plant and machinery.

Responsibilities:

* Working safely on site

* Ensure work is completed to a high standard

* Fault finding and diagnosis

* Looking after tools and equipment

* Looking after van

* Ensuring lifting equipment is tested and in date

* Ensuring electrical equipment is PAT tested

* Responsible for the safety documentation

* Completing comprehensive reports

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

* Time served Mechanical engineer

* Full understanding of ram pumps and pumping equipment

* Used to working out on site and staying away from home

* Must be qualified in engineering principles

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

* Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

* Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the company practices and UK legislation

* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with contract requirements

* Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
