We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring a love of learning and fostering scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Teach a range of science disciplines, including biology, chemistry, and physics, incorporating practical experiments and demonstrations where appropriate.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore scientific concepts and develop their skills.
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and share best practices within the department.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Science or a related field is essential, with strong subject knowledge across biology, chemistry, and physics.
Previous experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies and technologies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
