Duties and responsibilities

Taking responsibility for ensuring our tools, vehicles and equipment remain operational through maintenance and repairs.

* Undertake maintenance, service and repair on our fleet of HGV trucks and commercial trailers+tankers to DVSA standard with minimal supervision

* Effectively record details of work completed

* Prepare vehicles to high standard for MOT

* Ensure good housekeeping of workshop

Minimum requirements for this role:

* Have at least 3 years experience (ideally NVQ level 3 for vehicle maintenance)

* Good technical knowledge

* Understanding of Health and safety

* Diagnostic experience

* Ability to work without supervision

* A full UK driving licence

Physical requirements

The role is physically demanding where you may be required to stand for periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis and carry out repetitive tasks when required. Working outside is a necessity for the role
