The Role:

Due to continued and sustained growth, our client is looking to recruit a CNC Miller (Programmer, Setter, Operator) to join their expanding business on a permanent basis. Our client is a family run business, who are well established in Halifax.

Job Responsibilities:

The key function and responsibilities of the CNC Miller is to Programme, Set and Operate CNC Milling Machine with Heidenhain Controls.

* Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Heidenhain control

* Program jobs with 4th Axis

* Load machine with Vices / Fixture

* Load the tooling with correct offsets

* Upload programs

* Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards

* Work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:

* Previous CNC Milling experience is essential.

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller with Heidenhain programming experience.

* Must be able to read and interpret drawings.

* Must be able to work individually as well as part of a team.

* Good communication skills
