As a Construction Manager, you will oversee and direct construction projects specifically on London Underground with our Contractor client. Your responsibilities will include managing construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering and a strong understanding of underground infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Review projects in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
Onsite and Offsite Management:

Monitor all onsite and offsite construction activities.
Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and works managers.
Establish strong working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
Budget and Timeline Management:

Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Ensure project requirements are met within specified timeframes.
Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control measures to maintain construction standards.
Address any issues related to work quality promptly.
Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction activities.
Proactively address challenges to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Communication:

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular project updates and reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Construction Manager in major construction projects.
Knowledge of London Underground network infrastructure.
