Cladding Estimator

My client is a growing, remotely operated roofing company specialising in flat roofing but expanding their horizons into cladding and facades. prioritising personal freedom within the workforce and through unique buying strategies and specialist product knowledge are helping to drive innovation and best value to a national customer base. It is this best value focus which has resulted in a 40% tender success rate. Now is the time for my client to take on another driven and self-motivated Estimator to help build on the company's current success and grow with the business to the target £9m turnover in 3-years.

Role and Responsibilities:
➢ Accurate estimation of flat roofing projects
➢ Timely completion of quotations
➢ Keeping the customer informed and up-to-date
➢ Ensuring sufficient information is available to price the project
➢ Organisation and planning of tenders in collaboration with the pre-contract team
➢ Identification of process issues and suggestions for improvement
➢ Sales and best value proposals
➢ Tender analysis
➢ Materials take-offs ready for procurement
➢ Internal handover meetings to the post contract team
➢ Attending pre-contract and post tender meetings
➢ Develop knowledge of the pre-contract process
➢ To improve and optimise strike rate
➢ To support the team with excellent technical knowledge
➢ Pricing variations

Key Requirements:
➢ BSc / HNC preferable but not essential.
➢ 3 Years’ experience in an estimating role specifically in cladding and facades.
➢ Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam (Optional) and generally computer literate.
➢ Site and management experience favourable but not essential
