Hours – Working Days Monday – Friday (9 day Fortnight)

As a Panel Wirer, you will work as part of a team to correctly wire electrical assemblies on machines according to the engineering specifications. You will also secure and fix cables, looms, switches and other electric devices to machine assemblies. Please note that you may be required to undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time and which are reasonably within your capabilities.

As Panel Wirer, here are some things you could expect to do:

Read and understand electrical drawings
Fabricate and fix cable trays, trunking and conduits
Assemble electrical wiring looms to drawings
Use electrical measuring equipment where necessary
Drilling and tapping of components when necessary
To apply for this Panel Wirer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Skilled problem-solving skills
Self-motivated desire to improve working practices
Proven team player with good communication skills
Generally we are looking for someone who has a good amount of experience as working as either an electrical fitter, electrical assembler, wireman/ wireperson, control panel wirer, switchgear wirer.
