Prospero Teaching are currently seeking Behaviour Learning Support Assistant within PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) and Alternative provisions in Mitcham, South London.

Position: Behaviour Learning Support Assistants

Location: Mitcham, South London

Required: Full-time, 5 days per week

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Daily Rate: £100 to £120 (depending on experience)

Starting: ASAP

Contract type: On-going

As a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with young people who may suffer from a variety of challenges, including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), and challenging behaviours. Your role will involve providing support and guidance to help these individuals navigate their educational journey and develop essential life skills.

Responsibilities include:

Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage in learning activities and manage their emotions effectively.

Implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions to promote positive behaviour and prevent escalation of challenging situations.

Collaborating with classroom teachers and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help track their development and achievements.

Building positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and self-esteem.

Experience or willingness to work with students with behaviour difficulties and complex needs
