Our client, a leader in the banking sector, is seeking experienced Technical Delivery Managers to join their team. With the goal of centralising all IT services and delivering a simplified and sustainable service for the future, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Role: Technical Delivery Manager

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Leeds (Hybrid 2 days in office)

Rate: £600 - £650 per day (umbrella) also PAYE Option

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of IT Networks, supporting the opening of a new data centre. You will work closely with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure a smooth transition and provide technical guidance to enable efficient incident management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Effectively implementing IT Network projects, ensuring technical capability is in place to support potential incidents.
Driving projects forward using your technical expertise to aid decision making.
Ensuring key deadlines are met and risks are mitigated within project timelines.
Identifying areas for process improvement and driving changes as part of a Change Management programme.
Ensuring the Bank's risk management frameworks are followed to minimise exposure to adverse influences.
Delivering excellence by utilising the Bank's existing development framework to provide opportunities for growth.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

Proven experience in managing complex projects in a Data Centre environment.
Track record of implementing and leading improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
Experience in taking projects through a governed process into a live environment.
Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Ability to manage project finances and resources effectively.
