Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Geography teacher on behalf of our large client school located in Cardiff & Vale. This position is set to start from September 2024 on a full-time basis.

This secondary school are looking for an enthusiastic Geography teacher with experience in teaching, marking, and assessing all areas of the KS3 and KS4 National Curriculum.

Role responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons incorporating all key areas of the curriculum.
Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
Provide regular and consistent feedback whilst setting appropriate targets.
Manage classroom behaviour following school guidelines and policies.
Excellent organisational skills
High expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour.
The successful teacher will have a track record of excellent classroom practice and hold high expectations of their students. You will motivate and inspire students to achieve their full personal and academic potential.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (Wales)
Professional references covering the last two years of employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
