Civil Engineer

Contract Scotland are working on behalf of an ever-expanding organisation, who now require an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Peterhead.
In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping shape the future of the business. With a focus on safety and operational excellence, the role involves designing and preparing precise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and supervising maintenance and construction works to exacting standards. Coordination with key departments ensures all facilities are impeccably maintained and inspected.
The ideal candidate will possess an HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, supplemented by over five years of relevant experience, with a preference for expertise in maritime or coastal engineering. Adept at managing civil, mechanical, and electrical works, the candidate will have knowledge of relevant legislation such as CDM.
Personal qualities sought include professional communication acumen, the ability to forge effective relationships, a conscientious and self-motivated approach, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. A willingness to learn and engage in professional development is highly valued.
