The Opportunity:

My client within the telecoms sector are currently looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to join their team based in Cornwall.

You will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of work by raising the required permits and notices with relevant 3rd parties within an agreed SLA.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has dealt with land owners or worked with the local councils to drive performance and improve relationships with Local Authorities

The Streetworks Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that all KPI’s and SLA’s are met to reduce fines and also responsible for supporting a common set of best practices, principles, and templates for managing projects, as well as tracking and reporting on works required and completed.

Skills and Experience:

* Updating and running reports associated with street works performance and financial penalty tracking

* Influencing and promoting consistent street works back-office improvement, quality, and performance

* Works coordination activities in line with project delivery requirements

* Occasional site visits when required to gain knowledge of the permitting area, and additional knowledge of Street Works and Traffic Management requirements

* Attend regular coordination meetings with Local Authorities

* Tracking & reporting build statistics (i.e. homes passed) into Microsoft Dynamics

* Use of GIS systems to determine and understand build area requirements

* Previous experience of working in a similar role with the local council is highly desirable

* Must have a driving licence

* Street works permitting knowledge

* Awareness of FTTP network infrastructure build programs

* Interpretation of GIS network build files
