Our client's key purpose is to provide its customers with excellent service and value for money whilst being environmentally conscious.
The Assistant Commercial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial strategy through detailed data analysis and market research. This role is ideal for a civil engineering or geography graduate with a knack for managing large data sets and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and interpret large data sets to inform commercial decision-making.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
* Assist in the preparation of commercial reports, presentations, and proposals.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and execution.
* Maintain and update commercial databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
* Provide analytical support for pricing strategies, cost assessments, and revenue forecasting.
* Develop and implement tools and models to streamline data analysis processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
* Strong proficiency in data analysis and management, with experience handling large data sets.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with GIS software
