A teaching assistant is needed for a good special educational needs (SEN) school in North London for students aged 2-19.
As a teaching assistant, you will support students with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
This school is easily accessible from around London, with great transport links.
Being a teaching assistant at this school, you will become a part of a highly supportive team with exceptional senior leadership and fantastic resources.
A willingness to do personal care is preferred.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Working with and supporting students with complex learning requirements.
Providing academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture and providing emotional support when needed.
Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
Using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus and self-control.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience working as a teaching assistant.
