Responsibilities
Our client is a leading construction company, is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. We are seeking a ganger to join our team in Leiston, Suffolk.
Overseeing the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects in Leiston, Suffolk.
Managing and coordinating site operations, including resources, materials, and subcontractors, to ensure project delivery within established timeframes and budget.
Utilising your vetting clearance to comply with project-specific security and confidentiality requirements.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing appropriate measures, and promoting a safety-first culture on the site.
Collaborating closely with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure effective communication and smooth project progression.
Conducting regular site inspections, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
Managing site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and daily reports.
Providing leadership and guidance to the site team, including supervisors, tradespeople, and laborers, to maintain high-quality standards and achieve project objectives.
Desirable Experience
Proven experience
Vetting clearance is essential to comply with project-specific security requirements.
A valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification is essential.
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
