We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and bustling mechanics garage located in East London. This garage is renowned for its high-quality vehicle repair services and exceptional customer satisfaction. As their business continues to thrive, they are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their team.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be essential in repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in panel beating, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant environment where your skills will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessing the extent of vehicle damage and providing accurate repair estimates.

* Removing, repairing, or replacing damaged panels to ensure vehicles are restored to factory standards.

* Utilizing welding equipment, jigs, and hand tools for precise repairs.

* Ensuring all repairs are carried out in compliance with safety and quality standards.

* Collaborating with mechanics and other team members to complete repairs efficiently.

* Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

* Experience: Proven experience as a Panel Beater is essential. Formal qualifications are not required.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various panel beating tools and welding equipment.

* Detail-Oriented: Ability to perform meticulous work with attention to detail.

* Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.

* Efficiency: Capable of managing time effectively to meet repair deadlines.
