We are working with a manufacturing business in Telford to recruit for a new Testing team member. You will be working on low voltage and small electrical products to ensure compliance with current standards and will be part of a fantastic team of people who are all supportive and, in a business, where you will feel appreciated.
The Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for:
* Working alongside the production team to meet manufacturing schedule
* Testing and inspection of low voltage electrical equipment ensuring they meet current standards
* Complete relevant documentation upon test and inspection
* Store documents in correct location
* Transport completed items to despatch team ready for shipment
* Working with the Production and Quality Manager
* Assisting the project teams with any requirements
* Aiding colleague with workload
Skills and Experience
* Must hold BS7671 Wiring Regulations – 18th edition preferable
* Previous experience with electrical testing and inspection
* Understanding of BS EN 61439 and BS 7909 would be beneficial
* Must be a team player and willing to assist colleagues
* This role would suit someone who has previously worked as an Electrician / Test Engineer / Electrical Test Engineer / Electrical Engineer
