Hours of Work EITHER 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week OR 4 days on, 4 days off, 10 hours per day = average 35 hours per week

Job Description

As part of the Trolleywise Team you will be required to:

1. Collect abandoned trolleys from specific routes, including flexing your route to cover holidays for colleagues.

2. Return trolleys to customer stores and liaise with customer personnel.

3. Retrieve trolleys from a range of environments including water e.g. canals, rivers, ponds.

4. Carry out audits, inspections and maintenance of trolleys at customer sites when required.

5. Collect roll cages from customer sites and return to customer or Wanzl depots.

6. Input accurate and timely information on collections, deliveries and timesheets into mobile IT devices such as hand-held tablets.

7. Abide by the safe working procedures of a trolley retrieval engineer.

8. Any other tasks as requested by your supervisor, which are consistent with the purpose of the role and needs of the customer.

Person specification

To fulfil this role, candidates should have:

1. Full UK driving license

2. Driving experience

3. Customer relationship experience (liaising with customers during the course of your role)

4. Relevant vaccinations to protect you in the course of working in water environments (personal medical advice should be sought in order to obtain up-to-date information, but these currently include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus/Polio/Diptheria)

5. Physical capability to lift and move trolleys manually
