Shipping Co-Ordinator

A great opportunity has arisen in an international engineering company for a Shipping Coordinator to join the team responsible for the import instruction process to carriers, ensuring shipments are sent out & delivered on time to customers and global offices.

Your remit will be:

Daily imports & management of import register
Booking of deliveries according to customer & revenue requirements
Ensuring all shipments are commercially clear & compliant with export controls
Updating weekly report on period’s shipments
Letters of Credit management
Application of Chamber of Commerce documents
Manage over the counter shipments
An excellent knowledge of shipping procedures and awareness of incoterms is essential, along with knowledge of Excel and in particular VLOOKUP’s.  Being an effective communicator is also important, paired with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
