Commodity Trader

WasteRecruit have been retained by a global plastics trading company to support the recruitment of a trader.

The client is undergoing a sustained period of growth and is looking to explore potential new opportunities and markets.

We are looking for someone with good qualifications and understanding in chemistry, polymers, plastics or a similar area, who will generate sustainable trades for various plastic commodities such as prime and pellets, compounds, additives and off spec batches. As such applicants will need a minimum of three years trading these plastic commodities. Candidates will have an extensive network of contacts within sectors such as manufacturing, and be able to analyze potential suppliers and customers to ensure sustained commitments on both sides.
