Job Summary:

I am delighted to be working with this leading law firm to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join their growing team. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic violence.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic violence.
Conduct client interviews and take instructions to identify their legal needs and provide clear and concise advice.
Prepare and negotiate pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, and consent orders.
Represent clients in court proceedings, including divorces, ancillary relief applications, and children act proceedings.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their cases.
Work closely with colleagues across the firm to ensure effective case management and coordination.
Stay up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law, ensuring that your knowledge is current and relevant.
Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and business development initiatives to grow the family law department.Requirements:

A qualified solicitor with at least 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in family law.
Strong understanding of family law principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in case management systems
