Job Title: Hoist Operator
Location: Peterborough
Pay rate: £19-£20 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate hoisting equipment safely and efficiently to lift and move materials, equipment, and personnel as required.
* Conduct pre-operation inspections of hoisting equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential safety hazards.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating hoisting equipment.
* Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate hoisting activities and ensure smooth operations on the job site.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area around the hoisting equipment.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor immediately. Requirements:
* Valid Blue CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) certification for hoisting equipment operation.
* Proven experience operating hoisting equipment in a construction environment.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to hoisting operations.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Physical stamina and dexterity to operate hoisting equipment for extended periods.
