About The Role
About The Role:
As a Peripatetic Manager, you will support multiple homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks in delivering positive outcomes for individuals. You will support the Regional Manager/Ast Director/s , provide leadership to Home Managers, and maintain high standards of care and staff support.
You will provide support to the manager of a service striving for improvement. Occasionally, you will be expected to take over the day to day running of the service to ensure compliance with regulatory framework and delivering of positive outcomes to the individuals.

Field-based across various Orbis Education and Care sites & Priority Services

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and strive for excellent ratings.
Promote a culture of quality and care aligned with the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
Manage resources, budgets, and risks in your homes.
Lead and mentor Home Managers, providing support as needed.
Oversee safeguarding matters and collaborate on investigations.
Prepare monthly management reports and maintain quality improvement plans.
Support struggling services and manage homes in the absence of regular managers.
Collaborate with the referrals team to convert referrals to admissions.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and minimise agency usage.
Build positive relationships with inspectors and commissioners.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and registration requirements.Requirements:

3 years’ experience as a manager within residential care.
Level 4/5 HSC Leadership & Management in CYP or Adults.
Level 3 HSC in CYP or Adults.
Ability to be flexible to work within various settings
Registered with Social Care Wales.
Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviours, & Children and young people with Emotional Behaviour Difficulties.
Proven ability to manage multiple services and improve struggling ones.
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
