Your new company
A leading supplier in their industry, this organisation manufactures, distributes and provides training on their products. An employee-owned organisation, based at Tebay, Penrith.

Your new role
This role is an 18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. There will be a handover period with the current person in post.
As a technical Administrator, you will work within a small team in the Production department.
Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm) Friday (8:30am-2pm)

Duties will include:

Stock control using Excel to ensure balanced stock levels.
Placing purchase orders with suppliers.
Sourcing components to meet production demands.
Receiving incoming goods.
Testing incoming goods and reporting inconsistencies to suppliers.
Maintaining bills of materials on Excel and communicating changes to the purchasing department.
Working with the production, conformity and quality teams to ensure work instructions are kept up to date.
Liaising with external maintenance providers to ensure any faults are corrected and recorded.
Visual inspection of products and preparation for despatch.
Any other duties as required by the needs of the business.What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
A can-do attitude and willingness to help others.
Strong Excel skills.
Happy to help out other departments and a collaborative outlook. What you'll get in return
