Maintenance Technician

Location: Grantham

Salary: Up to £30,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Holidays: 29 days annual leave

Overtime:

* 1.4x standard rate for overtime hours

* 1.9x standard rate for overtime hours

Callout Retainer: £100 for a 1-in-5/6 callout rotation

Vehicle: Company van provided with a fuel card, optional personal use available

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. This mobile role involves performing general maintenance work across various sites within the East Midlands. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and a fuel card, enabling efficient travel to and from different job locations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other repairs as needed.

* Ensure all maintenance work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or potential improvements.

* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of facilities.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in general maintenance work, with skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other relevant areas.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the specified area.

* Flexibility to participate in the callout rotation and work overtime as needed.

Benefits:

* Competitive salary with overtime pay at enhanced rates (1.4x and 1.9x).

* £100 callout retainer for a 1-in-5/6 rotation.
