HGV 1 Night Drivers

Avonmouth

£17.50 - £19.50 PER HOUR

7.30pm start time - Mon-Fri

We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work ongoing Monday - Friday.

The role is completing night trunking class 1 , ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service.

Key tasks:

* Delivering items to customers

* Trunking

Duties:

- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment

- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Clean driving record with no major violations

- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role

- Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong communication and customer service skills

Must complete an unpaid induction before starting with the company which we are waiting on dates.
