About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join our dedicated facilities team in South London. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all Electrical systems within our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

PPM's

Reactve Maintenance

Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide efficient solutions to restore functionality.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any critical issues to the Facilities Manager.

Collaborate with other engineering team members and departments to ensure seamless operations.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly those relevant to a healthcare setting.

Participate in shift handovers, providing detailed reports on completed tasks and any ongoing issues.

Qualifications and Experience

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Electrical Engineer, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.

Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures in a healthcare environment.
