Early Years Teacher

Role: Early years teacher (EYFS)

Location: Loosley Row

Start Date: September 2024

As an EYFS Teacher, you will significantly influence the early learning experiences of your students. Your responsibilities include designing engaging and suitable lessons, ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom environment, and establishing positive relationships with both students and parents. Furthermore, you will collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the national curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners

The role will require the following responsibilities:

Develop lesson plans with a variety of activities to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Create opportunities for collaborative learning, peer support, and cooperative play to enhance social skills and build positive relationships.
Keep students enthusiastic about learning.
Motivate and stimulate children's learning abilities, often by encouraging experiential learning.
Foster an environment where students can thrive.
Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of all students.
Strive to build positive relationships with students, fostering mutual respect.
Engage children's learning abilities through experiential activities and keep them actively involved.
Participate in regular team meetings and curriculum planning sessions to align teaching goals, objectives, and instructional strategies.
The ideal candidate will have/be:

Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references.
Early years teacher status (EYTS) and meet the 
Prior experience in a nursery, preschool or school 
Positive and enthusiastic approach to education.
Ability to commute to Loosley Row
