Welder

Mayflower Engineering is a market leading, well established Sheffield based company,
specialising in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Engineering projects and products, working within a variety of market sectors to deliver exceptional engineering solutions.
We are currently looking to recruit permanent Welders to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects.
Fully skilled personnel, with a good all round engineering experienceare, are required to work on close tolerance work . Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Experience in medium to heavy MIG welding, FCAW welding and qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 287 would be preferred.
Essential Experience:
* Experience within a fabrication environment.
* Overhead crane operating experience.
* A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping.
Personal Qualities Required:
* A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues.
* A good verbal communicator.
This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits:
* Excellent rate of pay
* 37 hour working week - Overtime paid at time and a half of basic rate after 37 hours
* 33 days holiday per year payable at time and a quarter of basic rate (25 days + 8 statutory)
