My client based in Surbiton - a family run drainage business dealing with emergency and contract drain clearance and maintenance are looking for a Senior Frainage Engineer. My client are well established and have been trading for the last 35 years.

We are now looking for experienced Drainage Service Engineers to supplement our team. You will have the opportunity to work both as part of a team and alone, so are expected to be punctual, self-motivated, honest, conscientious and hard working. Health and safety are something you must take seriously. You will be dealing directly with our customers so must be confident, of good appearance, and possess both verbal and good written communication skills in English, these are essential, as you are required to write a concise report for each job that you attend. The work involves unblocking and maintenance of internal and external above and below ground drainage at commercial properties. We also undertake drainage repair work both excavations work and no-dig repair systems as well as carrying out CCTV surveys. A need for flexibility is vital. You will be asked to be on call on a rota basis. Currently 1 day in 10. Occasionally there will be optional work on weekends and evenings to carry out planned works that need to be done out of hours.

1. You will need to hold a current full driving licence.

2. Be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK

3. Able to pass a DBS check

4. Hold a CSCS Card

5. Experience of working in confined spaces

6. Experienced CCTV surveyor

You must have at least 3 years’ experience in this type of work, also experience of using High pressure water jetting and mechanical coring machines is desirable
