Calibration Technician (Oil & Gas)

Our client in Aberdeen is growing their Exploration Consulting team in Aberdeen.

The company has seen significant growth in this team due to the high demands for their testing services.

* Tackle technical lab test equipment calibration

* Check and approve certifications and calculations produced by any team member

* Communicate with internal and external client teams and as act as a representative of the business

* Assist the Technical Manager in updating calibration procedures and uncertainty budgets

* Be responsible for the maintenance of the asset databases to track all equipment

* Work closely with the team with troubleshooting equipment problems

To succeed in this position the ideal Calibration Technician will have the following skills and background:

* Proven experience in Pressure, Temperature, Electrical, Density and mechanical Calibration

* Higher education or relevant experience in a UKAS Accredited Laboratory

* Excellent communication skills and able to work closely with customers and internal teams

* Strong problem-solving skills
