Position: Vehicle Technician
Location: Oxford
Type of position: contract
Hourly rate: £40.00 to £45.00 per hour
Working hours: 37 basics week + overtime available
Working week: Monday to Thursday between 06.30am-4.15pm
Contract start date: June 2024
We are now seeking to recruit 10 Vehicle Technicians to work on 10-week contract basis for our client based in Oxford. The appropriate candidate would have experience in service repair and maintenance of cars.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work on either 06.30am-4.15pm Monday to Thursday or Monday to Thursday 4.15pm-02:00 am
Carry out rework on dealership vehicles including dropping engines and gearboxes from vehicles on ramps, removing and replacing the gearboxes.
Reinstallation of engine and gearbox.
Skills & Experience Required
IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle maintenance & repair or an equivalent qualification
Strong customer service skills
Good communication skills
Good attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to work within given timeframes.
Diagnostics skills
Tools are provided.
