BNJ Consultants are currently seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring the quality of finished products.
Pay rate: £14.50 to £16 per hour (depending on ability) plus production bonus.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 7.45am - 5pm
Friday 7am - 12pm
Responsibilities:
Wiring and assembly of machinery including Control panel wiring and mechanical assembly/fitting.
To undertake the assembly and manufacture of parts & assemblies to the point where they are complete machines and ready for test.
* Electrical Assembly and Wiring.
* Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine
* Plastic Parts manufacture
* Finishing and Packaging of finished machines
* Self inspection of finished items using laid down methodology.
Requirements:
Forklift truck Licence would be an advantage but not necessary.
Manual handling ability will be required.
