Job Summary: As a Planning Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling activities for major projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will lead a team of planners and work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.

* Lead a team of planners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional growth.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project information and requirements.

* Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying and analyzing any variances from the baseline schedule.

* Implement and manage project controls systems to monitor schedule performance, track progress, and forecast project outcomes.

* Prepare and present schedule reports, including critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and progress updates, to project teams and clients.

* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project schedules.

* Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures related to planning and scheduling.

* Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.

* Provide support for project planning during the bid and proposal stages, including the development of preliminary schedules and resource plans.

* Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in project planning and scheduling.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

* Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, experience within the Data Centre sector would be advantageous.

* Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

* Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

* Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
