Job Title: Approved Electrician
* Location: Covering Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and London
* Company: CC Cousins
* Full Time (Monday – Friday). Call out Rota 1 in 4
* Salary: £180 per day (£46,800) - Call out/ Overtime/ Price works and Bonus available
* Van Provided and Fuel Card (Door to Door – Travel time is included)
* Tools provided.
ABOUT US:
CC Cousins are a busy, growing Facilities Solutions company who have been established for more than 40 years. To further enhance our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Electrician, holding a valid JIB Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks across a range of projects.
CC Cousins has the pleasure of working with some of the most recognisable names within the industry, with clients including CBRE, Rontec, Savills and Anderson Young.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conducting electrical installations in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment (Fault finding/ LED Upgrades/ Board Changes)
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, plans, and blueprints.
* Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure successful project completion.
* Providing guidance and support to apprentices and junior team members.
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Keeping abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Valid JIB Gold Card
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Proven experience as an Approved Electrician.
* Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills.
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties in various environments and conditions.
* Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* JIB/ ECS Gold card
* 18th Edition
* City & Guilds 2365 Diploma in Electrical Installations.
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (Advantageous)
* Previous experience working in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
Benefits: Salary: £180 per day (£46,800) - Call out/ Overtime/ Price works and Bonus available. Company Pension after 3 months (3%) Van and Fuel card (Door to Door)
