Position Title: MIG Welder

* Location: Sudbury

* Salary: £13-£15 per hour

* Term: Permanent position

* Shift: Monday to Thursday – Day Shift

Job Summary:
We are working with an engineering company based in Sudburt in their search for a skilled MIG Welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding work to join metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of metals and welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform welding activities on a variety of materials including Mild Steel and Aluminium

* Weld various joint configurations in all positions.

* Review engineering drawings for parts to weld.

* Be able to work using their own initiative or as part of a team.

* Will be able to conduct a short on-site weld test.

Skills:

* Proficient in MIG welding techniques and equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

* Strong attention to detail and quality control.

* Familiarity with safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.

* Be able to work using their own initiative or as part of a team.
