Depot Manager / Delivery Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £35,(Apply online only) to £42,(Apply online only)p/a + benefits packages

Summary:
Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Depot / Operations Managers to join successful logistics and distribution. Your key responsibilities will be to manage the overall performance, workplace organisation, annual budget and functionality of the depot facility.
Position Overview:
- To manage the overall performance, workplace organisation, annual budget and functionality of the depot facility.
- Lead a team of drivers, stores staff, team leaders and assistant manager who you will work closely with
- Effectively lead the depot to excellent standards in the following areas: Health & Safety Learning & Development, Customer Services, Financial Control, Facilities Management, Despatch, Human Resources, Operations, and Transport.
- Engage with colleagues in the depot keeping morale levels high and understanding where improvements can be made.
- Motivate all staff by coaching and mentoring them through challenges and celebrating success.
- Organise and control the induction and ongoing training of all employees.
- Maintain good operating standards using 5S disciplines.
- Manage a depot level Profit and Loss centre.
- Keep distribution costs and overheads in line with budget.
- Fully explain any processes, changes or developments within the business to all staff through notice boards and meetings.
- Drive great culture and performance with the guideline of assigned KPIs.
- Deliver system and IT enhancements at the local depot aligned to the business IT system strategy.
Key Skills/Experience:
Previous Operations / Depot / Delivery Management experience is essential
Be able to manage and develop the entire operational team
To recruit, train and retain a team of staff that are committed
Good IT skills (MS Office Packages)
Creation and deployment of a site communication plan that is informative and exciting to create complete colleague engagement
Strong leader, with excellent motivational skills
