We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our fridge transport team in Dover. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of refrigerated goods to various destinations. Key Responsibilities:

* Transport Refrigerated Goods: Safely transport refrigerated goods to and from specified locations, ensuring the integrity of the temperature-sensitive cargo.

* Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks and maintenance of the HGV to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Report any issues or defects to the maintenance team immediately.

* Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including those related to the transportation of refrigerated goods.

* Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions and road restrictions.

* Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are handled safely and securely to prevent damage.

* Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes, logbooks, and temperature logs.

* Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with the transport office and customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence

* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Knowledge of road transport regulations and safety standards
