About the role:

The Civil Division within organisation is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in civil Engineering projects, particularly in highway and drainage design, as well as in managing complex structural designs from inception to completion.

This role involves working with a skilled team on a variety of challenging structural projects, including bespoke new builds, refurbishments, and heritage works. The Organisation prioritise sustainable engineering design and emphasise the value of reuse.

Requirements:

* Chartered or working towards chartered status with MICE or MIStructE.

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil and structural engineering following qualification

* Must have a valid UK driving license and access to personal transportation.

Responsibilities:

* Create high-quality designs for highway and drainage projects at all stages.

* Perform drainage calculations, including QBar, storage, soakaway sizing, and pipeline capacities.

* Design structural pavements for highways, driveways, car parks, and footpaths for various surfaces.

* Handle Developer enquiries and requests for information from agencies on drainage and flood risks.

* Write reports such as Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies.

* Follow the CDM Regulations for design responsibilities.
