Education and Qualification(s):

Experience:

* Strong commercial background in selling industrial products

Main roles and responsibilities

* Create, execute, and revise as needed a customer-focused business action plan to drive sales growth and enhance influence in the region, aiming for substantial sales increases.

* Monitor new prospects, build relationships, and manage the quoting or formal tender and procurement process from initial contact through to contract signing, implementation, and operational launch.

* Discover new business prospects within the sales territory and leverage both the existing database and personal prospecting efforts to increase sales.

* Assist in the creation, production, and delivery of high-quality sales presentations and proposals tailored to prospective customers, from engineering to board level, following agreed guidelines.

* Collaborate with colleagues in Business Development, Inside Sales, and Applications to maximise opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

* Stay informed about market trends and competitor products and activities.

* Distribute approved marketing materials to secure sales visits.

* Use the existing database and personal prospecting efforts to drive sales growth.

* Collaborate with existing customers to maximise business opportunities, maintaining the sales pipeline and forecasting tools.

* Ensure all appointments and proposals present the company professionally and competitively, aiming to secure prospective business at a profitable price.

* Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve your understanding and knowledge of the solution offerings.

* Keep the CRM and other reporting systems updated.

* Conduct all sales activities in accordance with company business ethics and trade compliance rules.

* Plan and prepare monthly presentations for Sales Meetings to report on current business status and forecast data.

* Adhere to all health and safety instructions, prioritise safety and health, and report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or near misses promptly.

Skills and Qualities we are looking for in a candidate

* Strong IT skills and technical background

* Hold a professional qualification in either Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering – Degree level preferred

* Excellent preparation, opening, presenting, questioning, negotiation and closing skills

* Have experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers and a detailed understanding of the design process.

* Proven experience within a strong commercial background

* Previous experience selling industrial products

* Ability to sell the advantages of the technical capabilities of different products

* Proven experience in new business development

* Efficient and timely at meeting and exceeding sales targets

* Excellent written and verbal English
